FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers to Commonly Asked Questions

WHAT KIND OF COOKIES DO YOU MAKE?

As of right now, I offer our Classic Vanilla Sugar Cookie Flavor, Chocolate Chip, Gingerbread, and a Snickerdoodle flavor year round for custom decorated orders.

I offer regular chocolate chip cookies as well!

I also make a variety of flavors for French Macarons. Click HERE to send me an email about the flavor of the month.

HOW BIG ARE YOUR COOKIES?

My standard is about 3.5" in size and rolled slightly thinner than 5/16" for a thickness. We also offer miniature sized cookies (2" in size) for special occasions and at special requests.

HOW LONG DO YOUR COOKIES REMAIN FRESH FOR?

The cookies are heat sealed in packaging to ensuring the cookies remain fresh on the counter or in the cupboard for over a week! However, if you decide to freeze your cookies, you can store them in an air tight container in the freezer (still in their original heat sealed packages) for up to 6 months. You just need to put them on the counter (still in the air tight container) for 2-3 hours to thaw before your event!

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ORDER?

As soon as possible! I decorate cookies on top of a full time job, so I only take a few orders a week. Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance.

CAN THE COOKIES BE FROZEN IF I DO NOT EAT THEM ALL?

Yes! If you have any left over cookies, keep them wrapped, and in a sealed container for up to 6 months. Once you're ready to eat your cookie, take it our of the freezer to let thaw in package for about 2-3 hours before enjoying.

WHAT IS IN YOUR FROSTING? WILL THE COOKIES GO BAD IF THEY ARE LEFT OUT ON THE COUNTER?

Our frosting recipe uses a meringue powder base instead of egg whites, eliminating the need to be refrigerated. The cookies taste best left out on the counter and away from direct sunlight (if out in the heat during the summer time).

ARE YOUR COOKIES NUT-FREE?

Yes, all of our cookies have a nut-free recipe. Although there are no nuts in the cookies, I do work in a kitchen that has nuts. I am a very clean person while baking and handling cookies, but I am obligated to say that my kitchen has peanuts in our pantry, set far away from the cookies.

DO YOU OFFER ANY DAIRY-FREE OR GLUTEN-FREE COOKIES?

I offer gluten-free cookies at this time. Please note I do work in a kitchen where regular flour is most often used. While I have not had any issues with cross contamination, there is a small risk.
